NOTICE: The DC Community Catalyst Awards gala has been POSTPONED due to COVID-19. If you would like a refund, please contact Conor at <conor at nqapia dot org>
We are rescheduling the dinner to August 29. If you have already purchased a ticket or table, we will still honor your ticket at that later date.
Every year NQAPIA honors groups and leaders who have improved the lives of LGBTQ APIs. In commemoration of our 15th anniversary this year, we will honor two Community Catalyst Awardees (scroll down for bios):
There will be cocktails, dinner, and a traditional Korean drumming performance by ChunJiEum Traditional Korean Percussion Troupe (천지음 풍물패). All proceeds benefit NQAPIA and local LGBT API leaders to attend the Regional Leadership Summits. Prices increase by 20% after March 1. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
Please let us know if you need language interpretation or disability related accommodations for the event or if there’s anything else you need or want so that you can be fully present.
Note that the space is mobility accessible for folks with wheelchairs, walkers etc.
We are also asking attendees to refrain from wearing scented lotions, perfumes, colognes, etc. to make the space more accommodating for folks who are sensitive to scents.
Email Conor at conor@nqapia.org with any event accessibility questions or requests.
