At the end of the day, every person should be judged on their merits, not their sexual orientation or gender identity -- that is the American way. Everyone deserves a fair chance to earn a living, provide for their family and live free from the fear of harassment or discrimination.
NQAPIA is leading a lobbying campaign for 3 bills to push Congress to support the LGBTQ+ API community. One of these 3 bills is the Equality Act, which would outlaw discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender-identity in employment, housing, education, and public spaces.
